Counselling
Kim provides CBT and narrative-informed support to anyone navigating life’s challenges, with particular depth in the following areas
Menopause Mental Health — A Space Built for This
Perimenopause and menopause are rarely just physical. Anxiety, disrupted sleep, low mood, and identity shifts are all impacts felt by those experiencing hormonal shifts. Frequently, individuals navigate the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause while also working and supporting families.
As a Bria Menopause Mental Health Certified practitioner, I offer individual counselling that takes the psychological dimensions of hormonal transition seriously without minimizing, medicalizing, or rushing you through it.
Counselling for Rural and Agricultural Workers
For farmers, agricultural workers, and people whose lives are rooted in rural communities.
Rural and land-based work carries a weight that most mental health services are not equipped to understand. Kim has spent her career in rural health. Sessions begin with your story. A sliding scale is available. Telephone and video sessions offered throughout Ontario.
Women in Life Transitions
For women navigating divorce, grief, retirement, loss, career change, or any passage that has rewritten the rules.
Transitions are not problems to solve. They are passages. Kim’s counselling offers a place to make sense of what is changing, at your pace, without being rushed toward resolution. Narrative therapy, CBT, and trauma-informed approaches, all grounded in the understanding that you are the expert on your own experience.
Workplace Challenges and Moral Distress
For professionals navigating burnout, toxic workplace dynamics, ethical conflict, or the erosion of professional identity.
If something has happened at work, or been happening for years, and you are no longer sure who you are in that environment, this counselling is for you. Kim brings both clinical depth and direct experience with healthcare systems and professional practice to sessions that name workplace harm for what it is, and help you decide what you want to do about it.
